First-person shooter video game "Destiny 2" has become ever so popular that it has gained millions of players within the first few months of its release. Its popularity has risen so much that Bungie has even announced that they will make a webcomic out of the game's story.

"Osiris was once the champion of the Last City. Vanguard Commander. Seeker of secrets and discoverer of wonders," reads the description in an update posted by Bungie. "And then everything changed. How did Osiris go from hero to traitor?"

Also in line with the recent expansion, "Curse of Osiris," Bungie has said that the webcomic would be entitled "Fall of Osiris". Marvel writer Ryan North who wrote "The Unbreakable Squirrel Girl," would also be writing the game's webcomic. To keep things still related to the game, the game's narrative lead writer, Christine Thompson, will be helping North.

Bungie has released a sneak peek of how the webcomic would look like. The cover that they showed was made by Marcio Takara, who also worked for the "All-New Wolverine." Interestingly, the interior art of the webcomic would be drawn by a community member, Ze Carlos. As the comic reads "001," there could definitely be more webcomics to be released soon.

The webcomic will be released this week, although no exact date was mentioned by the post. That said, some assume that it might come with the weekly reset on Tuesday. "Destiny 2" is definitely more than just its gameplay. Its storyline is something worth looking at especially now that it is made easier through free webcomics.

However, fans do not have to keep waiting as "Destiny 2" is currently having an event called "The Dawning" to celebrate the holidays, where everything in-game would be Christmas-themed. People can even have random snowball fights.
