Popular first-person shooter game "Destiny 2" is continually adding more and more content. Of course, this does not mean that they will just leave their existing content in the gutter. With updates being made, their latest patches have focused on Nightfall Strikes as it now revolves more around the player.

The new updates for this high level weekly event was made to encourage more players to keep playing the mode. After all, it serves as a sort of reward for being able to reach that level as well. The main changes will be around the scoring system by allowing players to gain higher scores as Bungie will remove the time limit.

The new score will be the sum total of all the player's team's individual points. That said, those who have played Nightfall Strikes will know that the best way to get points with this new system is to kill more and more enemies and generate orbs after doing their super abilities.

Of course, although the time limit has been removed, there is still an element of time and thus the speed when killing enemies still matter. There are a certain time thresholds which will gradually decrease the points earned for enemies killed. After the 15th minute, players will only get 50% points and by the 18th minute, no points will be counted.

However, they can always still finish the strike just to make worth it for those having a hard time finishing it while rewarding those who have better gear and skill. There will also be "Challenge Cards" in the Prestige version just to make it a lot harder. Players can then choose their difficulty through these.

There is no exact date for these patches as they will come in a series of updates. However, they should be coming out quite soon.
