PC owners will soon be able to play "Destiny 2" on their units. The sequel has been on the market for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One since Sept. 6. Game developer Bungie is shifting its focus to building a version of the game for PC users and confirmed the final PC hardware requirements.

Bungie made the announcement in its weekly "Destiny" series update. Aside from that, the video game developer also announced the preparations they are doing for the launch of the PC version around the globe. Bungie confirmed the unlock time for the PC version will start on Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 1 p.m. EDT.

The PC version going live will vary for different cities. Los Angeles, for example, will get "Destiny 2" unlocked at 10 a.m. PDT, while down under in Sydney, the PC version will go live at on Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 4 a.m.

Bungie said that the PC hardware requirements will still be the same like when they first announced plans to make a PC version back in July. The video game needs a 64-bit version of either Windows 7, 8.1 or 10 to run, along with a 6 GB free storage space to house the installation.

Entry-level specs will start from low to mid-range dual-core chips. Bungie specified that players would need to have a 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3-3250, the 3.5 GHz Intel Pentium G4560, the AMD 4.2 GHz FX-4350 or similar specs. As for the graphics processing unit (GPU), "Destiny 2" will be at the very least playable with a 2 GB GeForce GTX 660, a 2 GB GTX 1050 or a 2 GB Radeon HD 7850.

To fully support the video game's visuals with 60 frames per second (fps) and 4K resolution, Bungie recommends PC players to have no less than a quad-core central processing unit (CPU) like the 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5-2400, the 3.5 GHz Core i5-7400 or the AMD 3.6G Hz Ryzen R5 1600X.
