The PC version of "Destiny 2" will have features exclusive to the platform.

This was revealed by Activision-Blizzard Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Eric Hirshberg during the first-quarter earnings call of the company. He said, "We're committed to delivering meaningful features that are bespoke to the PC community, and I'm really excited about what we have to show for them." He also said that the PC version will bring the game "better than ever."

In the same talk, he revealed that the company is planning to provide more content in the game. He said that they are aware of the fans' complaints about lack of content when the game first came out. He said that Activision is working with Bungie to produce this.

Hirshberg, however, did not provide any details about the new content, or the new features that will be brought into the PC version of the game.

He said, "We now have a lot of confidence that we're going to be able to keep up with the demand with that steady stream of content and sort of keep pace with our players' engagement post-release of 'Destiny 2.'"

The PC port of "Destiny 2" is met with a lot of excitement, largely because of the fact that this will be the first game in the series that will be brought to this platform. There were talks previously that "Destiny" would get a PC port, but this never materialized.

The game producers are keeping a tight lock on the story of "Destiny 2." Rumor has it that it will feature a completely different story, with only a handful of characters, if any, being brought to the new title. This theory is supported by Hirshberg's statement that the game will be "accessible" to new or casual players.

"Destiny 2" will be released on Sept. 8. Aside from PC, it will be playable on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
