Players might have to wait longer to hear more news about the rumored "Destiny 2" as Bungie gears toward the release of the original game's latest DLC, "Rise of Iron," this fall.

Reports claim that the game studio is currently concentrating their efforts on making sure that the upcoming DLC will come out without a glitch. This could mean that the second installment of the critically and commercially successful first-person shooter game could not be released within the year.

But Bungie appears to drop hints at what players should expect of "Destiny 2," based on the latest community update on their website.

In the latest post of community manager DeeJ on Bungie's blog, a photo taken during the Bungie Day celebration showed that a widescreen presentation in front of the company's developers had been blurred. This could mean that they were not yet ready to reveal some of their secrets regarding an important development in one of their games, particularly the upcoming "Destiny 2."

According to the community manager, "We come together as a team to unify around a vision for the future. We look forward, together, at the next things we'll create for you to experience. If the Pentathlon is a chance to us to connect to each other as gamers, our version of Bungie Day is a chance for us to connect to each other as creators."

DeeJ also seemed to explain why they have to keep some details under wraps at the moment.

"We would have loved to have invited you, but that would have spoiled a world of surprises that wait for you down the path you're exploring. We were thinking about you the whole time," he stated. But fans should expect to learn more about the next installment of "Destiny" after the upcoming "Rise of Iron" DLC comes out in Sept. 20.

The "Destiny 2" is rumored to be released in September 2017.
