Multiplayer first-person shooter video game "Destiny 2" recently launched a new update that will expand the amount of content for non-downloadable content owners. This new update from developer Bungie is good news for players who did not purchase the "Curse of Osiris" expansion.

To recall, Bungie locked the Iron Banner and Faction Rally to players who will buy the "Curse of Osiris" downloadable content (DLC). This disappointed other gamers who did not get the expansion. However, patch notes for update 1.1.1.2 have fixed this issue.

When "Curse of Osiris" was released, players were not able to participate in many activities. This could include a Faction Rally event that was supposed to be part of the game's season 2. However, it was canceled since many players were angry that they cannot participate in the event. Bungie said that they canceled it to ensure that all the players can access it and get appropriate rewards.

The changes in the game were seen after the scheduled maintenance ended that took down Destiny 2 servers. The update is now available in all platforms. But what gamers noticed is that the Warlock Super glitch in Crucible's Mayhem mode is still there. Bungie said that this will be fixed after "The Dawning" event on Jan. 9.

Aside from this update, it is possible that there will be more changes in "Destiny 2." The game's community manager DeeJ shared on Twitter that there is still a lot to talk about this year. This hints that there are still other issues that Bungie will fix in the game. It is possible that this will involve solutions for other player feedbacks. There might also be more DLCs and events this year.

"Destiny 2" is currently available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. It was released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Sept. 6, 2017, and for Microsoft Windows on Oct. 24, 2017. It provides player-versus-environment (PvE) and player-versus-player (PvP) game types.
