Developer Bungie will be making an appearance at the Electronic Entertainment Expo with some fresh details about upcoming content for its "Destiny" title. According to the weekly update on Bungie's blog, the developer will let fans in on some new details during the event.

Bungie's DeeJ wrote, "And, we'll see you at E3. That's right. You might have seen mention of Bungie this or Destiny that on E3 schedules. We'll have some things to tease. Wouldn't miss it for the world."

This parting statement at Bungie's weekly update for the first week of June confirms earlier whispers of the company behind "Destiny" making an appearance this year's E3 event. Since Bungie has not shed light on any detail regarding their E3 participation, fans and observers alike have their own interpretations on what the game studio will be detailing.

According to speculations, Bungie will be introducing a new expansion for its space shooter "Destiny." There are recent reports of an inadvertent leak from a Red Bull packaging that named the next DLC as "The Taken King." If this is indeed true, then "The Taken King" will be the third expansion pack for the game, following the recently-launched "House of Wolves" and the game's first-ever "The Dark Below" expansion pack.

In addition, it is also rumored that Bungie will make public its plans for an item trading system for "Destiny," and will be using the trademark Eververse, which the company recently acquired.

However, a question that observers are asking is the date on which Bungie will make its appearance. In the three-day event, Bungie has not made any notices if it will launch its own press-con, and its partner publisher Activision will not be making any appearance at all. With the recent success of "Destiny" cementing the relationship between Bungie and Sony, it is whispered that the developer will address its fans during one of Sony's press conferences in the event.
