Bungie has now revealed what players will be able to find in the new "The Taken King" downloadable content (DLC) for "Destiny."

Bungie has detailed an exhaustive list, starting with new content coming in the form of new missions headed to the game. "The Taken King" will provide a new storyline and auxiliary quests for players to undertake.

New content for "Destiny" will also come in the form of Exotic Armor and Weapons, according to Gamespot. Bungie has promised that the new set of weapons and armor set to be introduced to the game would be the most significant they have done.

The characters themselves will be drastically changed by the new DLC, according to Bungie. As part of the new wave of changes, characters will now receive an increased level cap, meaning players can make their characters even stronger. Character subclasses will also be receiving new Supers and abilities courtesy of "The Taken King" DLC.

New maps and locations are also earmarked for "Destiny." The Dreadnaught will be an all new location coming to the game, and it is expected to provide new rituals, secrets and treasure to visiting players. Players will also have new Crucible multiplayers maps to use as they engage in exciting firefights with fellow players.

Bungie is also teasing players with what they have termed as the "biggest six-player Raid" they have ever offered, according to the Express UK.

In terms of other additions, players can also look forward to all new enemies that require being taken down. New Strikes and Boss battles are also set to come to "Destiny" as part of "The Taken King" DLC.

Bungie has published the contents of its latest DLC as part of its response to criticism that the $40 price tag for the new DLC was too high. Bungie says "The Taken King" is no mere DLC and is closer in composition to an actual game.
