Guardians are now excited, as the second expansion for "Destiny" has gone live.

"House of Wolves" follows Guardians as they try to hunt down the Fallen, who have betrayed the Queen. With the new expansion, the Reef, the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, will be opened. With a new area comes a new social hub much like the old Tower where players can interact with each other or check out items and missions from various new NPCs.

For the Crucible feature, the new expansion brings three new maps for players. First is Black Shield, a decommissioned Firebase on Mars. Next is Widow's Court, a disproportionate map with both long sightlines for sniping and tight interiors for close quarters combat, set in the European Dead Zone on Earth. Lastly, there is the new Thieves' Den, believed to be a Fallen hideout in the caves underneath Venus.

In addition, exclusive to the PlayStation versions of "House of Wolves" is a fourth Crucible map called Timekeeper. This special area is located in a Vex facility built on the surface of Mars. It is expected that the new map will also be made available for Xbox One and 360 players before the next expansion opens.

There is no new raid challenge in the new expansion. However, Bungie has opted to introduce two new end-game tasks for players to keep them entertained and incentivized. In Trials of Osiris, three Guardians must team up and battle other teams in elimination matches for three wins or nine losses, whichever would come first. Availability of item rewards from vendors will depend on the team's standings.

Meanwhile, the Prison of Elders is a co-op arena where three players will duke it out with waves upon waves of enemies, each wave becoming more difficult. Exotic and Legendary items await players who can conquer the arena.
