"Destiny" expansion packs are still under development and the release date will be in December, according to the developer working on the updates.

Bungie's David "DeeJ" Dague responded to a leak and confirmed that the expansion packs for "Destiny" game are not yet finished. He said that they have activity names, which may or may not change. The developer did not disclose the contents of the expansion packs. However, he said that the packs will include placeholder nodes in the Director.

Developers at Bungie are working on the first post launch pack entitled "The Dark Below." Dague confirmed that the pack will be finished soon and will be announced in December. The studio will release more details soon to players.

The response is due to the videos posted by "Destiny" players in YouTube, which showed a bug that locked the players out of the Tower. However, it also showed some content that are not currently included in the game.

Based on the videos, the map shows several new, locked areas as well as some that have already been announced as DLC. The videos also featured events that show new Story Missions, Strikes, and Raids on the planets already included in the main game.

Meanwhile, a hacker group attacked "Destiny" servers that disrupted the fun of players twice last September. Also, "Destiny" players discovered a cave in the Old Russia hub world near the Cosmodrome where players can farm items needed in the game. The cave is crowded with low-level enemies that tend to drop valuable, and sometimes rare, items when killed.

Bungie studio outlined some of its plans for more updates that will be released in the next few months. The first DLC pack, "The Dark Below," will arrive in PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
