The next DLC to hit the popular shooter "Destiny" is "House of Wolves". As part of the next expansion, players can now level up their gears with new items and increased level caps.

The new light level cap is raised from 32 to 34. Also, unlike the first expansion pack, "The Dark Below", where upgraded gears like weapons and armors were made irrelevant because they were made available as loot rewards and vendor items, Guardians will be able to upgrade their weapons and armors to add damage and defense and make each gear unique to its wielder.

As part of the new upgrade option the upcoming expansion pack, players will be introduced to a new item, called Etheric Light. This item is one of the requirements for players to ascend their weapons and armors to new light levels.

In an example from "Destiny" observer Arekkz Gaming's YouTube channel, two gears can be maxed out at level 34. Favourites among Guardians, both Vault of Glass and Crota's End are staple gears for game raids.

In the new "House of Wolves" DLC, there are several items that players must gather in order to level each gear. All in all, to complete the ascended set, players would need four Etheric Lights, 80 pieces of Planetary materials, and 3000 Glimmers.

In order to harvest Etheric Light, players need to work hard and complete high-risk missions, as the item is only available as high-level content rewards. Most of the items can be looted at the new co-op gameplay called Prison of Elders, or the new PvP mode, Trials of Osiris crucible events. Etheric Light can also be rewarded for successful Nightfall Strikes and Iron Banner events.

The new DLC for "Destiny", the "House of Wolves" expansion pack, will roll out on May 19 for the Playstation 3 and 4, and for the Xbox One and 360.
