The next expansion of Destiny: House of Wolves is expected to be out by May 19 but with a bug could pose a problem.

The technical problem was revealed by game developer Bungie which was said to be tied up with the 1.2.0 update. Developers are addressing the problem as we speak though there is no word on whether the late-breaking technical issue could signal a delay on the release of the expansion next week.

Update 1.2.0 for Destiny House of Wolves was released last week but is currently not activated. The good news is that while the bug could be a setback, it may also signal some changes (clueless on whether that would be major or minor) as far as the DLC expansion pack is concerned.

Regardless, Bungie community manager David Dague promises to provide updates as frequently as he can so that followers and players are aware of the update and current progress of the team as far as dealing with the glitch is concerned.

In the meantime and for the benefit of those who are unaware of the changes and perks that the House of Wolves expansion pack will be carrying, here is a brief rundown.

Leading the pack of features that the expansion pack would be carrying include the touted Gears of War style arena mode, a new 3v3 Crucible variant and more.

Another feature to watch out for is the reported removal of the Commendations feature. Commendations can be burned for reputation by players, something that was first introduced as part of Destiny's previous downloadable content packs. They were needed by players to buy armor and weapons.

Other features to look forward to upon its release include:

1. Upgrading options for Legendary Armor and Weapons to Etheric Light
2. New weapons can now be upgraded at the Gunsmith
3. New Non Playable Characters (NPCs) – Petra Venj, Variks, and Brother Vance
4. An array of new armor, ships and weapons players can get their hands on and use.

With tons of said features, it remains to be seen if any of them would be affected by the said technical glitch.
