'Destiny' Emotes available as Nightfall loot

Some of the emotes inside "Destiny" are now available as Nightfall loot.

The emotes in question are the dance emotes, according to IGN

Recently, a Reddit user named Axxx31 revealed that a friend had managed to get a hold of a Mystery Bag after completing the weekly Nightfall. That Mystery Bag ended up having what was described in the game as "one emote from fall 2015."

Aside from Axxx31's story, other Reddit users who are avid "Destiny" players revealed that they have also gotten emotes as part of their Nightfall loot.

Interestingly enough, Bungie did not announce that the emotes would soon be dropping as loot during their most recent updates, so it's unclear if the developer intended for the drops to happen. Given how many players have reported receiving the emotes, however, it also doesn't seem to be an accident.

Emotes dropping in "Destiny" is also noteworthy because these items were previously available only through microtransactions.

According to Gamespot, the particular emote received by the friend of Axxx31 was previously sold by NPC Tess Everis and required Silver to be purchased.

The emote in question is also no longer available through the store, hinting again that they are legitimate Nightfall drops now.

With emotes now available as Nightfall loot in "Destiny," players seemingly now have other viable ways to get their hands on these items beyond spending real world money to get them.

It's unclear exactly how many different kinds of emotes are currently available as Nightfall loot, so players will still have to rely on luck if they want to get all of them without needing to spend any money.

In addition, a new set of emotes was also introduced recently as part of "Destiny's" December update that also brought the Sparrow Racing League into the game.

Fans will likely want to see if those emotes will soon be available as Nightfall loot inside "Destiny" as well.
