"Destiny" developer Bungie is making waves inside the gaming world with its recent job ad indicating that the company is looking for a personal computer (PC) compatibility tester.

According to Bungie's ad, they are looking for someone who can "evaluate PC hardware-specific features" as well as someone who can "ensure various systems work together across multiple PC configurations."

Bungie is also looking for someone to fill the position who has a fountain of knowledge as it relates to PC hardware and having some previous experience doing something for a different PC title will make them a more attractive candidate as well.

As for why Bungie's job opening is making headlines, the reason is simple, and that is Bungie is known to only be working on one game at the moment, and that is "Destiny," according to Polygon.

Bungie is reportedly heavily invested in "Destiny" and for them to suddenly start working on something else with "The Taken King" expansion not even formally released yet would seem to betray that supposed level of commitment.

Still, the job ad does put into question what exactly Bungie has planned for such a hire, and that is why people have almost defaulted to just assuming that they are working on a PC port of the game.

According to Forbes, there would definitely be major obstacles Bungie would have to hurdle in order to complete a PC version of "Destiny," not the least of which would be the fact that the game itself would have to be so attractive that players would be enticed to start from the very beginning despite them likely already having an existing "Destiny" character.

For what it's worth, Forbes also reported that at least some people behind the game, such as Bungie COO Pete Parsons, have registered interest in bringing the game to PCs in the past.

For now, there is no confirmation from either Bungie or the game's publisher, Activision, that a PC version of "Destiny" is in the works.
