The next big update for Bungie's sci-fi futuristic shooter "Destiny" is now live.

According to the announcement posted on Bungie's forum, the biggest changes that update 2.0.2 have brought to the game are in its Crucible mode.

First up is that the Quiver perk for the Nightstalker Hunter has been re-enabled. This is in line with fixing the subclass skill with hotfix 2.0.1.2, which addressed the issue of the Quiver skill being used in matches with a glitch. Previously, the glitch enabled the Nightstalker Hunter subclass to get more shots out of the Quiver skill, which resulted in an almost infinite Shadowshot specials. With the hotfix introduced, the Quiver perk now limits specials to three shots.

Aside from the fixes, the new update also tweaked the recently returned Iron Banner event for "Destiny" players. Now, the rewards for the event have an increased drop rate, and Guardians who participate in subsequent missions will have more chances of acquiring Legendary Gear, Ghost Shells, Artifacts, and other packaged items above ranks 3 and 5.

For Guardians who are into weapon tuning and collection, update 2.0.2 also introduced a host of new changes to weapons systems in all classes, in turn addressing the weapons parts shortage issue when the previous major update introduced new weapons. Weapon parts can now be obtained from Banshee-44's store, and the inventory ranges from weapon upgrades to infused items. Meanwhile, the reputation points to be gained when trading weapons in factions were also reduced. This means that with the right combination, players would not have that much to grind in order to acquire their target weapon builds.

The new update is the second major patch that developer Bungie has rolled out since 'Destiny" entered its second year. In addition, the new update is also the most recent one since the release in September of the third expansion, The Taken King.
