Developer Bungie has been tweaking the upcoming patch 1.1.2 update, and it details specific changes for the game "Destiny."

Bungie points out that iIn latest update, the big change would come with the newest item lock feature. The new feature will allow Guardians to lock their items such as weapons and any other gear to prevent them from being accidentally dismantled. A little lock/ unlock icon will appear next to the items.

Also, the cool head gears Guardians have painstakingly crafted can now be worn while outside the battlefield, even while doing mundane tasks like socializing in the Tower or visiting vendors.

As what Bungie's Senior Technical Artist Andrew Davis said, "We all agreed that it's important to give players every opportunity to show off the cool gear they've earned."

Players can turn on this new feature right in the Settings menu.

Davis added, "Our engineers banged out the code for it in short order. All we had to do was figure out where to put the menu option. A number of locations in the UI were discussed. Character screen? Details screen? We decided that the Settings menu was the most obvious and easiest place to control this new feature."

Aside from introducing new features, the team at Bungie made tweaks in the game's Special and Heavy weapons. In the newest update, players will have to conserve Special ammo, as they are made more precious and therefore scarce in the Crucible; they will spawn less frequently; and will take players a longer time to pick up. Also, hoarding Heavy Weapons ammo will now be harder, since spawn times and spawn conditions have been tweaked for this item. If Guardians stay in one place just waiting for an ammo crate, the crate will disappear and spawn somewhere else on the map.
