Days after the rollout of "The Taken King" DLC for the space-age, sci-fi shooter "Destiny," game developer Bungie introduced a new Raid mission dubbed as the King's Fall. But in no time at all, Guardians were able to conquer the new Raid.

According to TechTimes, hours after the new Raid was unlocked on Sept. 18, Bungie confirmed that the Raid was finished with the death of the Taken King Oryx along with his 550 followers aboard the Dreadnaught.

In the play-by-play account, at least three teams were racing to be the first to complete the Raid, and it was the fire team led by KingGothalion that finished first. The statistics after the Raid indicated that KingGothalion's six-member team listed a total of 548 kills, with overall 489 assists. KingGothalion himself racked up at least 125 deaths, and posted a kill/ death ratio of 4.38.

Meanwhile, VersusTheStream and his fire team finished second, also in record time.

King's Fall is the first Raid that Bungie introduced for "Destiny 2.0" and the most recent one after Crota's End, introduced in the second expansion, "The Dark Below." The new Raid is part of the improvement and enhancements that Bungie developed for the title, which is already on its second year.

According to Bungie, aside from the new Raid, Guardians who will be playing "Destiny" with its new "The Taken King" expansion will also get to enjoy other fixes and improvements so massive that the game itself will feel and play like a completely different title. Changes in "Destiny 2.0" include additional new weapons and gears, and items such as Three of Coins, changes in NPCs like Xur the Exotic items vendor, and other enhancements in system, gameplay, and design.

"The Taken King" is now live for all "Destiny" platforms.
