'Destiny: The Taken King' December DLC update: new items, weapons tuning

Although Bungie has already rolled out numerous new features and upgrades to celebrate Year Two of its sci-fi futuristic shooter "Destiny," it seems that the developer still has much in store for the legions of Guardians playing the title. Before the year ends, it is said that the December update for the game will roll out and will introduce a number of new items and updated features, particularly weapons tuning and rebalance.

According to Yibada, the upcoming update that will roll out for Year Two of "Destiny" will add at least 13 weapons in the arsenal, comprising both new and heavily upgraded Exotics from Year One. The number of update weapons range from class-specific rifles to sidearms, while Exotics to be introduced will vary from updated weapons to per-class defensive gears and items.

Meanwhile, Gamezone noted that one of the most noted features that the December update will roll out is another batch of weapons rebalance and tuning. Weapons were one of the scale-tipping items in the shooter title, particularly for its PvP modes. Bungie already said in previous weekly updates on its website that one of the main ideas for new updates would be to come out with at least fairer plays in terms of weapons, without regard to how high a player's levels are or how expensive a gear or weapon set is. The developer also allowed a first glimpse of how the weapons tuning will work in the new update through its Weekly Update earlier last month.

Aside from the new weapon items and tuning, the latest news from Bungie also mentioned that the December update will roll out with "Harder" modes for "King's Fall," the new Raid that rolled out for the new expansion in "Destiny," "The Taken King." This new mode is to give Guardians new challenges in terms of fulfilling mission requirements per boss level.
