Anticipation continues to build as "The Taken King" expansion for "Destiny" draws closer and closer, but not everything will be ready upon its arrival.

Speaking at PAX Prime event, "The Taken King" director Luke Smith said that the King's Raid, which will be part of the new expansion, will not be available right from the first day, IGN reported.

Smith added that the team behind "The Taken King" does have a plan to rollout the new raid, but he said that it's not yet the time to reveal when that might be.

The King's Fall raid, coming in "The Taken King," is expected to be the biggest one yet that has been made available for the game. It will be featuring a new and more formidable foe known as Oryx as he leads his army of combatants known as The Taken.

In related news, Smith also talked about some of the other changes players can expect with the arrival of "The Taken King" expansion in an interview with Edge Magazine as reported on by Express UK.

In particular, Smith brought up the subject of Grimoire Cards and how they may be integrated into the game with the arrival of "The Taken King" expansion.

Grimoire Cards have been present in "Destiny" right from the very start and Smith said that the team behind the game is working on trying to make them more integral elements of "Destiny" as it moves forward.

Smith added that the plan, as it relates to the Grimoire Cards, is to develop them further in the second year of the game; and he hopes that they will be more functional as storytelling elements inside "Destiny."

The game director also said that the Ghost, now played by Nathan Drake in the new expansion, will also be filling in the blanks more in terms of fleshing out the story of the game.

"The Taken King" expansion for "Destiny" will be released on Sept. 15.
