The new "Destiny" DLC titled "House of Wolves" is scheduled to be released on May 19 at 10 a.m. PST. This will be several hours after the Tuesday weekly reset, which changes the weekly Heroic and Nightfall Strikes as well as clear off the caps for the weekly Vanguard Mark and Crucible Mark. Those hours between the weekly reset and the release of "House of Wolves" will see no Heroic or Nightfall strikes.

The announcement was reported by VG24/7 which cites a Bungie representative replying to a forum inquiry.

"During the eight hours between the weekly reset and the patch download associated with the release of House of Wolves there will be no weekly, Nightfall, or daily activities available. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause," reads the response.

It is presumed that once the "House of Wolves" DLC goes live, it will be accompanied by a slew of activities that are associated with the weekly reset, such as the Nightfall Strike. The DLC will also introduce a new Strike, known as the Shadow Thief Strike.

"House of Wolves" is the second DLC for Bungie's new MMO-FPS video game hit "Destiny," following the December release of "The Dark Below" expansion. It will introduce the new Trials of Osiris competitive event as well as the Prison of Elders co-op mission. A new competitive elimination mode will also be added to the Crucible, adding even more layers for those fond of PvP. All of the new gameplay modes will be accompanied by new equipment, new weapons, and more maps for players to fight in.

"Destiny" is Bungie's first Triple A game following their exit from the "Halo" franchise, a popular FPS series that they created while working directly under Microsoft. For those who haven't gotten their hands on the game yet, a report from MMO Games states that it is available at a 50 percent discount for Xbox One Gold subscribers.
