The weekend is fast approaching, which means that players of Bungie's "Destiny" are looking forward to seeing where the travelling Xur, Agent of the Nine, will be staying from Sept. 18 to 20.

Starting 2 a.m. Pacific Time, 5 a.m. Eastern Time, and 10 a.m. U.K. time this Friday, the travelling merchant is expected to visit the Tower once again to bring his latest line of exotic weapons and other items that players can obtain by exchanging their acquired Strange Coins and Motes of Light.

But since "The Taken King" expansion pack has already been released by the game developer this week, players should expect to see a new item called Three of Coins in the vendor's inventory.

Based on Bungie's description posted on the Xbox One UK website, the Three of Coins is known as a "stackable effect that increases the chances the next Ultra you defeat will drop an Exotic Engram."

The Three of Coins is reportedly a one-time consumable item that is meant to increase the player's chances of purchasing an exotic item from Xur's merchandise each week. However, it is still unknown whether the Three of Coins will be a staple item in the Agent of the Nine's inventory or if it will be released occasionally.

Last week's list of items that Xur brought to the Tower, specifically in the area right across the Crucible Quartermaster, includes the Titan Helmet called the Helm of Inmost Light that was worth 13 Strange Coins, the Hunter DLC Helmet known as the Celestial Nighthawk that could be obtained for 13 Strange Coins, the Warlock Helmet called Apotheosis Veil worth 13 Strange Coins, the powerful sniper rifle called No Land Beyond which sold for 23 Strange Coins, as well as the Exotic Chest Engram that players were able to obtain for just 23 Motes of Light.

Players are now advised to save up Strange Coins and Motes of Light to be able to get a good deal with the travelling merchant until Sunday, Sept. 20.
