The showdown between the Detroit Lions and the Dallas Cowboys is proving to be something to look forward to, a classic offense vs. defense between two clubs who have met before.

Everyone knows that the Lions will be looking up to Ndamukong Suh to lead a defensive stack against a team that has been know for relying heavily on its offense. Suh, who was able to appeal his suspension, could put a stop to all that.

The Lions are back in the postseason finale since 2011 and are looking to win their first playoff game since 1991. Ironically, that win came at the expense of the Cowboys. This will be the third playoff meeting between the two teams.

The Cowboys are of course looking for payback but all that could hinge on how DeMarco Murray can hold up. Murray has been the go-to-guy as of late, leading the NFL with 1,845 rushing yards. But the question is on whether if he has more left in the tank as Murray has been producing less with 4.0 yards per carry during three of their last five games.

Aside from that, quarterback Tony Romo knows how daunting the task is when you talk about the Lions' defense.

"They're going to be as good a test as we're going to have all season."

On whether Dallas can continue to thrive and wear out their opponents remains to be seen. They have run all year, shying away from their traditional pass-heavy attacks. But again, all that could depend on the durability of Marco.

But despite all that, the Cowboy are the slight favorites in the NFL Wildcard pairing. Aside from the fact that they are playing the Lions at home, Romo can still weave some magic out in the field especially with Dez Bryant complimenting him magnificently.
