The Detroit Lions and the Tennessee Titans will clash on Sunday in a Week 2 clash in the NFL, and the Lions will be looking to get their season off to a 2-0 start with another win today. The game has a scheduled start time of 1 p.m. ET and takes place from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. The game can be watched on TV on the CBS network or online through live stream via the link below.

The Lions claimed an excellent victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1 to get their season off to a great start. To do so though, they had to withstand a final quarter onslaught from the Colts, who put on 17 points in the last quarter to almost claw back the deficit.

However, the Lions managed to fight back and returned 11 points in the last quarter to ensure they recorded the road win 39-35.

The Titans meanwhile had a bit of a second half implosion in Week 1. The first half saw Tennessee completely lock down the Minnesota Vikings offense, and the Titans were able to enjoy a 10-0 lead as the teams went in for half time. However, the Vikings offense exploded into life in the second half, and the Titans defense had no answer. The game ended 16-25 to the Vikings, and the Titans' weaknesses were badly exposed.

The Lions will be looking to take advantage of some of those frailties today, and in front of their home fans at Ford Field, Detroit will be big favorites to claim the win today.

Earlier this week on Thursday Night Football the New York Jets achieved their first win of the season as they defeated their in-state rivals, the Buffalo Bills 37-31.

The Jets had opened up their season with a disappointing loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, where they looked like they were still in pre-season. However, the Jets woke up on Thursday night, and put on a much more explosive display.

Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed an impressive 24 of 34 passes for 374 yards as he took apart the Bills' secondary with the help of wide receivers Eric Decker, Brandon Marshall and Quincy Enunwa.

Decker put on a stellar performance with six catches and a touchdown, and moved to 18 straight games recording at least 80 receiving yards or a touchdown.

Marshall meanwhile also had a fantastic game, recording six catches for 101 yards. He did give the Jets a scare in the second quarter when he went down with a knee injury. Marshall made a 15 yard reception but went down under Bills cornerback Stephon Gilmore. Marshall was down on the field for several minutes.

Marshall said after the game: "I thought I was done. I thought I was going to be finishing in my backyard in Florida."

However, even though he departed the field with the help of trainers, he returned to the game and continued to tease the Bills' defense.

Fitzpatrick later said, "Brandon is one of the tougher guys you'll ever see. They were looking at his knee, and I didn't think it was good. To see him on the ground in pain, I knew something was wrong. But then, when he stepped back in the huddle later on, it was a big surprise, but relief as well."

Tyrod Taylor tried to get the Bills offense going, and completed 18 of 30 for 297 yards and three touchdowns, however, Buffalo were just too inconsistent throughout the night and lacked efficiency in their play.
