The ABC comedy drama series "Devious Maids" will be more complicated than ever with a new character to bring a fresh round of trouble for the viewers' favorite Latina helpers. "Royal Pains" star Cristian de la Fuente will be part of the show's third season as a mysterious man with a past relationship with one maid. Instantly, newlywed Rosie comes to mind. 

Many believe that the actor will play the role of Ernesto, Rosie's first husband who is only mentioned by name all throughout the show. "Devious Maids" executive producer Sabrina Wind has long hinted his arrival, too. His return is right on the dot, then, as his former wife has found a new man, Spence, who she married in the finale of season 2. The show's second run also culminated to Rosie's discovery that Ernesto is indeed alive. Ernesto is said to have faked his death for the safety of his family. But with a pack of enemies after him, it might not be as wise to travel to America. 

"Devious Maids" was picked up for 13 episodes in season 3, all promising bombshells and clashes. The whole new run is also said to welcome "Days of Our Lives" star Nathan Owens, to play the role of a strapping military man named Jesse who strives to live his life as a normal citizen. Naya Rivera, the singing cheerleader on "Glee," will also be joining the ensemble. 

The forthcoming season is also sure to expound more on how Sebastian's plan pans out. He managed to convince Carmen to sleep with him, promising to introduce a record executive to her. But guess what? That record executive turns out to be his wife. It will absolutely be interesting to see what happens to these three. Lastly, Brianna Brown, who appeared in season 1 of the show, will also return. 

"Devious Maids" season 3 is rumored to premiere in spring.
