"Devious Maids" Season 2 ended around two months ago and now, fans are waiting to know if the show will be renewed or cancelled. It seems that the future of the Lifetime TV series still hangs on the balance and may, in fact, be looking dimmer as time passes.

According to Enstarz, the cast of the show have already ventured out into different things, which makes season 3 less likely to happen. There's recent news that Edy Ganem has been Latina Magazine's celebrity blogger for New York Fashion Week. She's been attending shows by Lacoste, Custo Barcelona, Angel Sanchex, Vivienna Tam and more. Ganem has been writing about the fashion shows, collections, and her own opinions in the fashion world.

But despite Ganem's new gig, she was outspoken about wanting a season 3 for "Devious Maids." In an interview with Examiner, she said "I remember reading one of the final versions of the script before the final one was given to us and yes, he [Ty] was aiming to shoot Valentina because he wants to get rid of her and basically cover his tracks."

"But in one of the early scripts, accidentally he was shooting Carmen. Now she wasn't going to die, I think it was going to be like oh he shot the wrong person accidentally, what a mess." Ganem said. "Then Marc Cherry changed it to the way we saw it, which ends a way where we don't know who gets shot. And truthfully, I actually don't know so I'm just praying Valentina doesn't die! We actually don't know what's happening. So for me, when I read the ending I was like there's gotta be a third season because this has no conclusion here!"

Ganem was pretty detailed with how she doesn't want to leave things as it is for her character Valentina. But will Lifetime listen to her plea to bring back the show for another season? We all have to wait for the announcement, which should be made soon.
