The fourth season of Lifetime's comedy-drama "Devious Maids" ended with a lot of mysteries earlier this month. Loyal viewers of the show are clamoring for a fifth season for the show to be able to give closure to these mysteries.

One such mystery is the disappearance of Marisol Suarez. It can be recalled that by the end of the fourth season of "Devious Maids," Marisol went missing on the day of her wedding with Peter, making some fans think that she has been kidnapped.

Although a fifth season for the comedy-drama has yet to be confirmed, "Devious Maids" executive producer Sabrina Wind said in an interview with TV Line that the show's writers are already planning to explore Marisol's disappearance if it will continue to be aired by Lifetime.

"It will launch us into the new season. We have many thoughts of what it all means, but we have to wait to talk to Lifetime about them. It will be a completely new story," Wind said in the TV Line interview.

She added that another plot point that may be explored in "Devious Maids" Season 5 is Dani's father, who was briefly referred to in the fourth season's finale.

"100,000 percent! I'm hoping the character is this incredibly hot, wonderful man who's going to come back into Carmen's life and challenge where she is and what she's about," the "Devious Maids" executive producer said.

Another mystery that can be explored, according to Wind, is why Kyle and his mother all of a sudden became unheard of during the last season of "Devious Maids."

"Yes, that was the intention. If we have the wonderful honor of doing a fifth season and Lifetime tells us they want those people back, then we can talk about it," the show's executive producer said in the interview.
