Nowadays, many celebrities prefer not to talk about their beliefs, but there are some who are very open about their faith. Some actors and actresses have even turned down roles because of their faith, while some were questioned and even received a lot of backlash when they spoke openly about being Christian.

Recently, there have been quite a number of famous people who have spoken out about their belief in Jesus Christ, and these athletes, musicians, and actors have shared stories about finding Christ, turning to Him in times of trouble, and what it's like to be a Christian while being in the public eye. Some have even begun spreading the Word and speaking out in church services, giving testimonials about how Christ has changed their lives for the better.

Here are some celebrities who have spoken openly about being Christian:

Stephen Baldwin

Baldwin accepted Christ as his Savior after the tragic events of Sept.11, 2001. Since then, he has turned down roles that don't mesh well with his faith, and in an interview with The Blaze, Baldwin said that when he became a Christian, people began to have a certain perception of him because of his faith.

"When you go on the news, or CNN, and you're excited, you don't realize that on the beginning of this [Christian] journey that people are going to have a perception now," said Baldwin. "And I really didn't care."

Justin Bieber

Bieber has been criticized for his behavior over the recent months, but in a new interview with Complex magazine, the 21-year-old spoke candidly about his faith, saying that his faith got him to where he is now.

"I, personally, love Jesus and that was my salvation. I want to share what I'm going through and what I'm feeling and I think it shouldn't be ostracized," Bieber told the magazine. "I'm at a point where I'm not going to hold this in."

Manny Pacquiao

The Filipino boxer has admitted to being a womanizer and has often spent his days gambling with his friends until the day he found Christ. Nowadays, Pacquiao would often talk about his faith in interviews and would even give testimonials in church. In an interview with The Guardian, the boxer said that he is happy because he found salvation.

"Christ said unless we are born again we cannot enter the kingdom of God," he said. "So it's very important to me."
