'Diablo 3' might soon come to the Nintendo Switch as teased by Blizzard?

Dungeon crawler action role-playing game (RPG) "Diablo 3," even after years since its release, still has a huge player base. With the success of the Nintendo Switch, it will not come as a surprise if "Diablo 3" gets released for the console. That is, especially now that developer Blizzard posted something "Diablo 3"-related on social media.

The official Twitter of Blizzard entertainment posted a short video of a Diablo-like night light with someone turning it on and off and the tweet saying "Sweet dreams." For many, this may mean a possible Nintendo Switch version; however, according to Polygon, it may not be what many people think.

"We can assure you we're not that clever," said a spokesperson for Blizzard in their email. "[It was] meant to be a fun community engagement piece. We have nothing to announce." Although of course, die-hard fans will still be able to interpret this in some positive way.

Ultimately, at least for those fans who doubt the email, they can always say that Blizzard may not be announcing anything yet. Thus, although the folks behind the company say they have "nothing to announce," it may mean that there is no announcement for it in the coming days, weeks or months leaving the possibility of a Switch version still open.

"Diablo 3" was first released back in 2013 and playable on the PlayStation 3 (PS3) and Xbox 360. With the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and Xbox One X versions coming out later, Blizzard also released the game for these updated consoles. Given the usual re-releases for the famous game, fans are all the more likely to hope for a Nintendo Switch version.

Hopefully, this would not end up like Blizzard's "Hearthstone," for which they did the same cheeky Tweet for the game. In the end, however, fans never got their "Hearthstone" on the switch.
