A new playable class is about to arrive in "Diablo 3," if the leaked concept art turns out to be true.

The leaked concept art of the Necromancer class was first seen on Blizzard Gear, the same web page as the rumored "Overwatch" artwork that suggested the arrival of a Sombra character DLC. Both leaked images were already taken down by the game developer, but copies were posted on Imgur.

The leaked image showed a pair of male and female characters. The man held a sword and an ax, while the woman was holding a floating skull in her right hand. Both male and female necromancers are surrounded by a horde of the undead. The male character reportedly has a resemblance to "Diablo 2" character Xul, who also happened to be a necromancer.

If the character class will be introduced during the upcoming BlizzCon event this coming weekend, it will come out as part of the second expansion pack for the game since its release in 2012. The last character class that Blizzard released for "Diablo 3" was the Crusader, which came out in 2014 together with the "Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls" expansion pack.

Meanwhile, other speculations also claimed that Blizzard will unveil a new installment of the "Diablo" franchise. This could either be a remastered or a special edition of "Diablo 1," which is celebrating its 20th anniversary in December. Other rumors claim that a "Diablo 4" could be in the works.

If the rumors about the new "Diablo" installment turns out to be true, Blizzard will treat the "Diablo" fans with a major surprise since there are no reports about the development of a new game under the hack and slash action role-playing video game series.

Details about the possible expansion of "Diablo 3" are expected to be unveiled during the annual BlizzCon that will begin on Friday, Nov. 4 and end on Saturday, Nov. 5.
