Game publisher Bethesda recently released the "Book of Karnaca" trailer for its "Dishonored 2" game. The upcoming stealth action-adventure game will be released next week, and Bethesda gave its fans an outline of its new story and setting.

The studio chose to present its game in a different way, a pop-up book style of storytelling, from the point of view of the Outsider. There are a series of mechanical dioramas, similar to the opening credits of HBO's "Game of Thrones." The trailer second game of the series shines the light to Karnaca, the capital city of Serkonos. It is also commonly known as The Jewel of the South at the Edge of the World.

'Dishonored 2' will now focus on the rightful heir to the throne, Emily Kaldwin, but players can choose to play either her or her bodyguard and father Corvo Attano. Their main objective is to reclaim the highest seat of power of the industrial city of Dunwall.

Players can choose to play stealthily, finishing the game without taking a life or using supernatural powers, which is present with the two playable characters. The trailer also presented new enemies and a deeper story that is set 15 years after the incidents of the first game.

Prior to the release of the "Book of Karanaca" trailer, Bethesda released a video about Corvo. Harvey Smith, the creative director, and Dinga Bakaba, the lead designer, were there to talk about the royal protector and spymaster.

The duo presented many of Corvo's improved abilities like the Blink, which is a teleportation power for short distances. The skill freezes the time as well, which creates damage on impact brought about by the momentum gained during the process. Another upgraded skill is his Devouring Swarm, two can be summoned at a time, plus it can follow the character around clearing its path of enemies.

"Dishonored 2" will hit the shelves on Nov. 11 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC, and fans can have one-day early access if they pre-order the game.
