Square Enix recently released the latest overview trailer of their upcoming 3 versus 3 fighting game "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT." The game will be released for PlayStation 4 on Jan. 30, 2018. Instead of the usual 1-on-1, two teams with three members each will battle it out. The team who will be able to perform three knockouts first is the winner.

The overview trailer featured a more diverse and extensive combat gameplay compared to previous Dissidia installments. The biggest alteration made to the game is the number of players able to engage in combat simultaneously. The trailer also revealed that the damage mechanics is the same with the previous Dissidia video games. Players can inflict Bravery and HP attacks on their opponents. HP damage depends of the quantity of the attacker's bravery points, which can be increased by successful bravery attacks.

Characters are categorized under four battles types — assassin, vanguard, marksman, and specialist. For example, Tidus from "Final Fantasy X" is categorized under assassin with his swift and precise attacks.

Gamers can create their own team by analyzing the skills and attributes of characters. They also have the freedom of forming a team made-up of one battle type.

Players are also free to equip their chosen characters with EX skills. Instead of passive attacks and boosts, summons are now capable of fighting alongside their summoners. With over 20 characters to choose from, players can discover all distinct attacks, EX skills, and capabilities of each playable character.

Fans are happy with the announcement that Noctis Lucis Caelum from "Final Fantasy XV" will be included in the roster. Lucky "Final Fantasy" fans were able to play the demo version of the game during the 30TH anniversary celebration of the series in London last Nov. 3. Not only that, these people had the opportunity to play with "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" producer, Ichiro Hazama.
