Developers Square Enix will soon allow more players to test out "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" next month. From a closed beta version for the game earlier this year to an open beta early next year, gamers will soon get to play a big chunk of the game.

The open beta for the game was announced via Twitter. It will run from Jan. 12 to Jan. 21 for fans in both Europe and North America. That is more than a week for players to test out the game.

According to Silconera, there are apparently a bunch of features and modes made available when the open beta starts. On online mode, players can fight against other players in Class Match. The feature or mode is a three-versus-three battle. There is also the option to go either on a solo match or a party match. In the latter, the player can also have the option to be teamed up with other players online.

Before then, players might want to test out the players' combos and whatnot, and they can do so with Rush Battle. This is pretty much an offline version of Class Match where players get to fight against bots, also in a three-versus-three format.

As with almost every game, there is a story mode. However, the story mode depends on the player's level. The features work by unlocking sealed memories. The higher the level, the more Memoria players can acquire to actually unlock these memories.

As for the characters themselves, players can customize them for every character including their skins and event background music. The special skills, called EX skills, can also be set. More options can be unlocked with the Treasure feature, which players can get by playing the other modes.

"Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" will be out on Jan. 30, 2018 and will be available for the PlayStation 4.
