After shooting all over Nepal's Kathmandu Valley, Hong Kong, and Hell's Kitchen in New York City, director Scott Derrickson has confirmed that the filming for "Doctor Strange" has finally concluded.

The filmmaker took to Twitter to announce that filming had wrapped over the weekend. He also thanked the crew who worked with him during the Nepal leg of the production in a separate post.

The movie stars Cumberbatch as the neurosurgeon-turned-magician/superhero named Doctor Stephen Strange. He will be joined by Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Karl Mordo, Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, Mads Mikkelsen as Doctor Strange's evil villain, Michael Stuhlbarg as Nicodemus West and Rachel McAdams as the doctor's fellow surgeon.

The film will retell the story of the superhero's origins as an exceptional surgeon who was forced to drop his profession because of a horrific car accident that damaged his hands. As he searched for the cure for his condition, he came across the Ancient One, who to took him and made him an apprentice in the mystic arts.

Cumberbatch also started promoting the film as soon as the cameras stopped rolling. The British actor decided to drop by a comic book store in New York City to purchase several "Doctor Strange" comic books while still in his full costume.

Meanwhile, film directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo revealed that Doctor Strange will be siding with Captain America's (Chris Evans) cause in his upcoming battle with Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) in the upcoming "Captain America: Civil War" movie.

The directors shared a GIF image on their Facebook page where they edited a scene from the movie to include Doctor Strange on Team Captain America. However, they did not confirm if the character will really appear in the third installment of the "Captain America" film, which will premiere on May 6.

"Doctor Strange" will debut in theaters on Nov. 4.
