Every film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has included a post-credits scene. Some even included a mid-credits scene. These extra scenes are not necessary to complete the film's story, but they could serve as short teasers to indicate what will take place in future MCU films. Details for these scenes in "Doctor Strange" have since been revealed.

It is important to note that the details first appeared in a report from Screen Crush. Disney and Marvel Studios have since requested that they'd be taken down, but anything on the Internet usually stays on the Internet. As such, the details have since been made available on other sources such as Cinema Blend.

The mid-credits scene will reportedly showcase Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) determined to remove all mystical threats on Earth, whether they be good or bad. This also involves getting rid of the Asgardians such as Loki (Tom Hiddleston) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth).

During this scene, he agrees to help Thor in his quest to find Loki and Odin (Anthony Hopkins), the latter of whom went missing in "Thor: The Dark World." However, in return for this favor Thor must agree to leave Earth and never return.

In the post-credits scene, Baron Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor) is shown murdering the character played by Benjamin Bratt. This character is yet to be revealed but is said to have suffered from paralysis. This character then uses his own powers to heal himself. When Mordo murders him, he also steals his magical powers.

Mordo has been portrayed as Doctor Strange's ally in the film, but in the comics, he is known as a major antagonist. It is hinted by Cinema Blend that he will turn to the dark side once Strange is announced as the Sorcerer Supreme instead of him. This scene hints that, in a sequel, Mordo may become the main antagonist.

"Doctor Strange" opens in theaters on Nov. 4.
