The trailers for "Doctor Strange" have painted Mads Mikkelsen's character, Kaecilius, as the main villain, but as pointed out in a report from Cinema Blend, it is possible that writer Dan Harmon could have unintentionally revealed that the villain Dormammu is also in the film.

According to the report, Harmon had been brought in by Marvel to write some sequences and reshoots in the film. During the San Diego Comic Con, the writer turned on his laptop during a public presentation and while his intention was to discuss "The Community," eagle-eyed fans spotted Harmon's notes for "Doctor Strange."

While most of the leaked script notes appear mundane, one little line does stand out as it reads "Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) confronts Dormammu."

The report explains that this doesn't mean Dormammu is necessarily the main villain in the film. It is possible he is only going to be encountered once while Strange travels through dimensions or that Dormammu is merely working behind the scenes, giving Kaecilius more power than before. It is also possible Harmon is writing the post-credits scene and that Dormammu's appearance is only a teaser for the sequel.

Another possible plot spoiler is in regards to a connection between "Doctor Strange" and "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2." As reported by /Film, "Guardians" director James Gunn showcased a brand new concept art for the film, depicting the titular Guardians fighting a tentacled monster.

During a Facebook live question and answer video, Gunn revealed that the monster was called an abelisk and was a multi-dimensional being. /Film reveals that the LEGO set for "Doctor Strange" includes a tentacled-monster coming out of a portal and this monster is also described as a "portal beast."

The report points out that it is possible Doctor Strange will encounter the beast, seal it back in the portal, and in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" the Guardians will be hired to finally take it down.

"Doctor Strange" opens in theaters on Nov. 4.
