Viewers will witness Michael (Tom Wisdom) make the ultimate sacrifice in the upcoming episode of Syfy's apocalyptic supernatural action series "Dominion."

In "The Narrow Gate," TV.com reports that the archangel's choice will come at a huge price — never being with his love again. Meanwhile, Alex (Christopher Egan) will go on a perilous journey to prove his worth to his new ally. During his quest, he will encounter a person from his past. Claire (Roxanne McKee) will call up an old friend to help with what she believes is a revolt-in-the-making by the V1s.

Last episode, Michael was still in Mallory, the town that could mysteriously repel eight-balls. He enlisted Harper's (Victoria Crawford) help to keep his secret from Laurel (Olivia Mace), the town leader. When Harper did not show any signs of divulging the newcomer's whereabouts, Lady Mallory tortured her.

Claire was determined to prove that it was David (Anthony Head) who hatched the plan to kill her through Zoe (Christina Chong). Even though her personal guard already admitted that she tried to murder Claire to draw attention to the plight of the V1, the Lady of the City did not care. She still sent an eight-ball named Rose that Arika (Shivani Ghai) trained to hit on David while the security cameras recorded every moment. She then used the footage to have him arrested.

Meanwhile, Alex and Noma (Kim Engelbrecht) were captured and sent to New Delphi, where the leader Julian (Simon Merrells) oriented them about the town. Gabriel (Carl Beukes) was still hot on their trail and already sent two henchmen ahead to grab Alex. They managed to defeat them and send Gabriel away. When Julian asked why the angel wanted him so much, Alex admitted that he was the "Chosen One."

In an interview with TV Fanatic, Executive Producer Vaun Wilmott revealed that New Delphi and its eccentric leader Julian would play an important part in the show.

"I think people are going to be surprised by Julian. Also the culture of the city is going to be fascinating and unlike anything we've seen anywhere else in the world of Dominion. The way they're living is going to surprise people," he teased.
