Goku thinks up a killer new retaliation against Hit's Time-Skip technique in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 39 titled "A Fully-Developed 'Time-Skip' Counterattack!? Is It Coming!? Goku's New Technique!"

The battle between the two formidable combatants officially started in episode 38.Goku has grown confident that he will be able to defeat Hit even if he was the most powerful fighter in Universe 6.

In "Dragon Ball Super" episode 39, however, Goku will realize that Hit is stronger than he expected. Either way, this grasp did not make the Saiyan falter in any way. Goku is convinced that his he can outsmart Hit, even if he uses Time-Skip on him.

When Hit used the Time-Skip technique on Vegeta, the Saiyan Prince dealt a series of killer blows. Goku, on the other hand, is certain that he will not share the same fate with Vegeta in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 39 because he is ready. He will even get the better of Hit.

Using Time-Skip, the Universe 6's star player can skip a fraction of a second, which, if he moves fast enough, could give him the upper hand in the battle despite being on the losing end. In the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 39 promo, Goku was seen making a punching bag out of Hit.

However, the synopsis for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 39 teases that Hit is either getting stronger or at least isn't getting any weaker with Goku's attacks. This pushes Goku to perform Kamehame-Ha on Hit.

If the Time-Skip performed at the right time, Hit could actually win it all. Goku, however, will try to deduce how his opponent will use this advantage so that he could be one step ahead of him. Whether or not it will work remains a mystery for now.
