As "Dragon Ball Super" prepares to wrap up its current story arc, the Future Trunks saga, fans are now beginning to wonder what will happen next in the recommissioned anime series.

Rumor has it that episodes 70 and 71 will focus on the father-son relationship between Vegeta and Trunks. It was speculated that the Saiyan price could become envious of his son's victory over Goku Black and Zamasu.

Fans can still recall the events that happened during the last episode where Trunks took a chance in going head-to-head with Merged Zamasu. Moreover, it also showcased Trunks gathering massive amounts of ki energy that was lent to him by his friends and other Z-warriors as well as people from across the globe. Hence, the broken sword that he used during his scuffle with Merged Zamasu turned massive with concentrated energy that he used to stab the opponent, effectively ending the epic fight.

Apart from this, there are also talks suggesting that Vegeta's old self might resurface and this could eventually put his relationships with his friends and family in peril.

As for Son Goku, the current word on the street is that since his battle with Merged Zamasu was a close call, the protagonist is believed to wander away from his friends to further sharpen his skills and at the same time look for the seven dragon balls.

However, the events that are about to take place in episodes 67–69 will help shape what will transpire in the succeeding episodes. That being said, the upcoming episode 67 is said to feature the appearance of the Omni-King who governs the 12 universes and is said to be the most powerful of them all. Furthermore, Trunks may likely to go back to his own timeline and start from scratch together with his girlfriend, Mai.
