Players of "Dragon Age: Inquisition" will soon enjoy new downloadable content for the game as a BioWare representative finally confirmed that a new DLC is now being developed. 

On Feb. 8, "Dragon Age: Inquisition's" executive producer Mark Darrah answered a fan's question via Twitter about the possibility of having a DLC for the game soon. 

Darrah stated that they are currently "working on it... We will discuss once we are more locked down." 

However, the game's executive producer and the rest of the BioWare team are still silent about the timeline of the upcoming expansion pack. The DLC may still be in its early stages of development at this point, which is why they cannot come up with exact details that they can discuss with players. 

The latest installment from the "Dragon Age" franchise earned the overall Game of the Year award from the D.I.C.E. Awards in Las Vegas on Feb. 5. Darrah believes that the success of the game can be attributed to the game's "return to form" characteristics. 

"I think really it's both a return to form, a return to what BioWare did in its roots: exploration, story-telling, character development," GameSpot quotes the game's executive producer as saying. "Also, us starting to explore new areas [being] deeper, open-world gameplay. I think just that combination is what really resonated with people." 

Prior to the announcement of the upcoming expansion pack for "Dragon Age: Inquisition," the game developer confirmed that they are planning to hold on to the new cooperative multiplayer mode of the game. They will also include more features in the soon-to-be released title updates that can be downloaded for free, just like what "Mass Effect 3" did previously. 

While the DLC for "Dragon Age: Inquisition" is being crafted by the developers, players of the game can start downloading the two latest updates that were made available last week for all console platform versions.
