'Dragon Age: Inquisition' DLC: 'The Black Emporium,' Dragonslayer' to be launched on May 5 for free

Players of "Dragon Age: Inquisition" will have more dragons to slay and more characters to meet, thanks to the brand new DLC for the wildly popular role-playing video game. The new expansion pack, very fittingly titled "Dragonslayer," brings players gargantuan, fire-breathing dragons to tussle with.

Game company Bioware invites gamers to "craft the Dragon's Call" and "test" whether their courage is enough to claim victory against the "fiercest beasts" in Thedas. This new multiplayer expansion pack has a brand new Ferelden castle.

On top of that, this add-on introduces three new characters. The first one is a fierce Avvar warrior named Skywatcher. The second character to meet is Isabela, the Raider Queen of the Eastern Seas. Last but not the least is Zither the virtuoso, who is too cool to remain as Bioware's April Fool's joke.

"Dragonslayer" is free and it will be released on May 5 together with "The Black Emporium," which will serve as a shopping destination for players who would like to purchase new weapons, accessories, crafting material as well as rare items found in Xenon the Antiquarian.

This content, apart from bringing a new superstore, contains the Mirror of Transformation that will allow players to change their appearance. It also packs a treat for loyal gamers in the form of two new Skyhold thrones that can only be accessed by those who played "Dragon Age: Origins" or "Dragon Age II."

Bioware has one more gift for "Dragon Age: Inquisition" players. The game studio recently announced that the much-awaited, ardently demanded "Jaws of Hakkon" expansion pack is finally landing on the PS4, PS3 and Xbox 360 on May 26. This DLC was released back in March but only as a timed-exclusive for owners of the Xbox One and PC. Now, everyone else gets to try it out.
