'Dragon Age: Inquisition' DLC details: 'The Descent' to bring back darkspawn next week
BioWare just unveiled the trailer for the new "Dragon Age: Inquisition" DLC titled "The Descent," which will be available next week.
In the game, players need to take on the role of the Inquisitor, who is compelled to start a journey toward the Deep Roads to find out what is causing the earthquakes that pose a great threat for all the people of Thedas. The trailer for the second major DLC of the highly-acclaimed action role-playing game shows that players will have to face the ruthless darkspawn as they try to investigate the source of the tremors.
The official "Dragon Age" website warns players about what they should expect as they course through the mystifying areas in the new DLC, saying: "Explore the legendary Deep Roads, but ensure that you come prepared. A perilous journey awaits underground, where vast, darkspawn-infested caverns will challenge the Inquisition like never before."
There are several unforgettable new characters that will be featured in the soon-to-be released "Dragon Age: Inquisition" expansion pack. Players will also find out more about the past of the dwarven culture, and discover several epic loots as they engage in combats to solve one of the most mystifying secrets of Thedas.
Just like all the earlier DLC releases for "Dragon Age: Inquisition," the upcoming DLC will be exclusively available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It means that it will no longer have a timed-exclusivity deal with Microsoft, but those who are using PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles will not be able to play the DLC on their devices.
The price for the new "The Descent" DLC for "Dragon Age: Inquisition" has not been announced, but if it will be sold for the same price as the "Jaws of Hakkon," then players should expect to shell out at least $14.99 to enjoy the expansion pack.
Meanwhile, EA Access just started offering "Dragon Age: Inquisition" for free for those who are using the Xbox One console, and those with subscription can purchase "The Descent" at 10 percent less than its original price upon its release on Aug. 11.
