"Dragon Age: Inquisition" ended with the launch of the "Trespasser" DLC pack, and earlier this year the lead writer of the series, David Gaider, left BioWare to pursue new goals. However, the franchise will live on, and series producer Mark Darrah has taken to Twitter to tease what is speculated to be "Dragon Age Tactics."

The Twitter post showcases Darrah opening a book that has text stating it is only for the staff of BioWare and EA, indicating that it is a handbook containing information and guidelines for a game currently in development. The front cover is what has drawn the most attention from fans of the series however.

Fans have pointed out that the wolf symbol on the front may be a logo representing Fen'Harel, the ancient elven god that took on the disguise as Solas. Fen'Harel's goal was to destroy the Veil separating the real world and the Fade but in doing so would destroy the physical world as well. It is likely he will play the main villain "Dragon Age Tactics."

While "Dragon Age 4" is also likely to be the next video game in development, Bioware did conduct a survey that proved there was a very high interest in doing "Dragon Age Tactics" and the cover of the book being showcased by Darrah features a tower, akin to the rook used in a game of Chess. This hints that the game is indeed going to be a turn-based tactical RPG.

Fans are speculating that the game may be similar in style to "Blackguards" or "Divinity: Original Sin," both of which are also turn-based tactical RPG titles.

Later posts from Darrah hint that he is fond of releasing teasers without ever revealing what they pertain to but it is likely that if "Dragon Age Tactics" is indeed in development then Bioware will announce the game soon.
