Fans have been anticipating the release of "Dragon Ball Fighterz" and while the wait may be a little lengthy, more details regarding the game have been revealed. For starters, two new stages are set to be included in the upcoming game.

The official Japanese website of the game gave a sneak peek into the stages that players will be able to see when the game officially launches. The first stage is the Tenkaichi battleground where many epic battles have taken place. The Tenkaichi battleground has appeared in many "Dragon Ball" games so it only makes sense for "Dragon Ball FighterZ" to have this arena as well.

Second is the stage used for Cell Games. This particular stage may be one of the larger stages that is included, since the setting itself is in an abandoned area. The third stage that is featured on the site seems to be out of Earth and onto a different planet.

There is a chance that this stage is the Sacred World of Kai, which is a place that played an important part in the popular series. The Sacred World of Kai also became the battleground of the big fight between Goku and Kid Buu.

Some of the screenshots that have made rounds online earlier also confirm Planet Namek as another stage that will be featured in "Dragon Ball FighterZ."

A video by Game Informer revealed the two other stages that will be included in the game, which brings the confirmed stages up to six as of now. One of those two stages, a city reduced to ruins, was already featured in another game, "Dragon Ball Super." The other stage, seemingly a new one, is set near a body of water.

More will be revealed over the coming months until the game's official launch. Aside from the stages, the iconic Dragon Balls will be featured in "Dragon Ball FighterZ." This may not be surprising to the fans of the series and the games, but it definitely comes as a surprise in terms of how they will be executed in the upcoming title.

There have not been any further details regarding these Dragon Balls, however, but what is known is that the balls will represent a system that is not found in any other similar game. The implementation of the Dragon Balls will serve as a new feature in the "Dragon Ball" series.

Players will be able to collect all seven Dragon Balls in one match. How? They will have to finish certain actions in order to be granted a Dragon Ball.

"Dragon Ball FighterZ" will be released in February 2018 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
