Bandai Namco has recently released a new video trailer for the upcoming 2.5D fighting video game "Dragon Ball FighterZ."

The trailer provides a closer look into the three recently announced characters from "Dragon Ball Super" — along with new features in-game such as the Shenron System and the Dramatic Scenes feature as revealed by the latest issue of V-Jump magazine.

The Dramatic Scenes feature will recreate iconic scenes from the Dragon Ball franchise in-game. These cutscenes will be triggered when certain team character combinations are chosen or specific finishing moves are performed. In the trailer, the scenes when Goku became a Super Saiyan and the moment when Gohan defeated Cell are recreated in-game.

Details about the Shenron System were recently revealed by Bandai Namco. Players will be able to collect Dragon Balls on-screen when they string a certain number of combinations in a match. Once a player collects all seven Dragon Balls, the Eternal Dragon Shenron will be summoned granting the player one wish among four options including restoring the character's health to full, reviving a downed ally with 50% health, boosting a character's Ki gauge to maximum, and restoring health to 50% while allowing the energy gauge to auto-restore.

Towards the end of the trailer, the recently introduced characters from "Dragon Ball Super" including Beertus, Hit, and Goku Black are seen in action. Gamespot was also able to capture exclusive gameplay footage of the three characters in an event.

"Dragon Ball FighterZ" will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Jan. 26, 2018. Bandai Namco will hold a beta for the game from Jan. 14-16. Players who pre-order the title will be able to jump into the beta a day earlier on Jan. 13 in addition to unlocking Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta early in the game.
