Ahead of the release of "Dragon Ball FighterZ" this month, developer Bandai Namco shared a new trailer revealing a new fighter. On the other hand, the roster of characters for its open beta is also announced.

The upcoming game will feature the strongest fighter of Universe 6, Hit. Like Goku Black, Hit is also given his own trailer. He is one of the most feared fighters in the current "Dragon Ball Super" anime. Hit is known for his ability to Time-Skip, giving him an advantage over his opponents. The trailer for the game, which shows Hit, features his striking and lightning-fast moves.

It is noted that Hit also has many fans in the anime, which was seen after his elimination in the Tournament of Power. Many fans could not accept that Hit is already out of the game, which resulted in speculations that it was only the phantom of Hit that was eliminated. However, these theories ended when the entire Universe 6 was erased.

Bandai Namco also announced the roster of playable characters for its open beta. This includes Nappa, Vegeta, Goku, Piccolo, Krillin, and Cell. Also part of the game are Android 18, Frieza, Beerus, Kid Buu, and Gohan (Adult).

The "Dragon Ball FighterZ" open beta will start on Jan. 14 at 3:00 a.m. EST to Jan. 16 at the same time. Those who pre-ordered the game will gain early access to the open beta on Jan. 13 at 3:00 a.m. EST. Gamers who will pre-order the title will unlock Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta.

In another news, Christopher Sabat, who is the voice actor of Vegeta, and Sean Schemmel, who voices Goku, will have a "Dragon Ball FighterZ" match this month. This was announced on Twitter after the two had a week of amicable trash talking on the social media site. Their match will take place on Jan. 25 at the eSports Arena in Santa Ana, California. It will also be live-streamed across Facebook, Twitch, and YouTube.

"Dragon Ball FighterZ" will be launched for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on Jan. 26 in the U.S. and the U.K., and Feb. 1 in Japan.
