'Dragon Ball Super' episode 24 spoilers: Goku and Freeza showdown go full swing

Dragon Ball Super Toei Animation

The moment Freeza has long been waiting and preparing for is finally here. In the next episode of "Dragon Ball Super," the intergalactic tyrant is finally facing Goku, who has also been training with Whis and Vegeta for this very moment.

Episode 24 of the series is titled "Charge! Freeza vs. Son Goku. This is the Fruit of My Training!" Here, it sounds like Goku will demonstrate to Freeza his new powers and why he hasn't been around as Freeza and his super-army gave the rest of the Z-fighters a beatdown.

Fresh from their training, Goku and Vegeta arrive at the scene just in time before Gohan suffers worse beatings in the hands of Freeza, who was so enraged about the fact that Gohan defeated his two best and well-trained soldiers Tagoma and Ginyu.

The next "Dragon Ball Super" installment is made more exciting because it is in it that Goku will, for the first time in the series, finally show off his Super Saiyan Blue form, which, to date, is the strongest and most formidable form he is able to transform into.

It looks like the battle will be in full swing in "Charge! Freeza vs. Son Goku. This is the Fruit of My Training!" This begs the question of whether or not Freeza will eventually showcase his Golden Freeza form to match the strength of Goku during their battle.

In the sneak peek for the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 24, Vegeta can also be seen helping out Goku in battling Freeza. But as the title of the installment suggests, this will be the ultimate confrontation between Goku and Freeza and it is time for the former to show what he learned from Whis.

[Spoiler Alert!] According to reports, "Dragon Ball Super" episode 23 saw Vegeta ultimately killed Tagoma. It also looked like Piccolo has met his demise. Fans hope things will get more intense in the next episode, which airs Dec. 20.
