Fans who had been following the story of the highly popular anime television series "Dragon Ball Super" so far rely on different streaming websites that all have a rather questionable track record in providing stable videos and updates just to see brand new episodes. This is because the show has so far been limited to screening on Japanese networks, with fans in the west having to depend on different uploaders to get their anime fix.

Now, fans in the West will finally be able to catch the latest episodes of the show as the anime has now been announced to be released via different streaming services.

However, despite the high demand for the full English dub of the popular series, the version that will be released in Western streaming services will still be the English subtitled version.

As of the moment, the confirmed streaming networks that will be including "Dragon Ball Super" in their line-up are Crunchyroll, AnimeLab, and Daisuki. The three services will start streaming the anime starting today, Oct. 22.

The first episode that will be aired via the services will be the show's 63rd episode, which is a few episodes away from the latest one that will be released in Japan.

It was, however, announced that the entire Future Trunks arc — which starts at episode 47 — will be made available as well.

Those who want to start at the very first episode of the show will have to wait as the earlier episodes will be released in batches of 10 starting on Oct. 30.

The president of Toei Animation Inc. — Masayuki Endo — also expressed his excitement about their show's move to the west and teased fans about some of the future plans they have set for the series.

In a statement regarding the release, Endo mentioned, "Patience always pays off, and we're delighted to finally share Dragon Ball Super with our fans around the world. And believe me when I say there's more to come. Stay tuned for additional exciting news before the end of the year!"
