After a one-week hiatus, "Dragon Ball Super" will return for its 129th episode, in which the most intense part of the Tournament of Power is about to begin. The fans are excited to witness the one-on-one battle between Son Goku and Jiren, but this time around, the Saiyan fighter will be able to surpass his limits by attaining the Ultra Instinct form. A still from the upcoming episode further increases the hype, as Goku is shown preparing a Ki blast directed at Jiren.

As reported by Comic Book, a still from "Dragon Ball Super" episode 129 shows Goku gearing up for a powerful Ki attack against Jiren. Some fans speculate that this is the beginning of Jiren's downfall, although it appears that whatever type of Ki blast that Goku is preparing in this still will not be enough to weaken the Universe 11 Pride Trooper. The online publication noted that Goku is seen sporting his incomplete Ultra Instinct form while powering up for a Ki blast in mid-air, thus making this effort less likely to impact Jiren in a big way.

Last week's "Dragon Ball Super" episode 129 preview already hinted that Goku will still struggle to achieve the full potential of his Ultra Instinct technique. At some points of the promo teaser, Jiren could still match the power of Goku while in his incomplete Ultra Instinct form. However, things are expected to change towards the end of the episode, as Goku fully masters his Ultra Instinct. In this case, the Universe 7 fighter will be seen having a silver hair and aura.

With Goku reaching the full extent of the Ultra Instinct technique, it looks like the Tournament of Power is already in its last phase. In fact, the "Dragon Ball Super" anime series itself is expected to wrap up in the next few episode. However, it remains to be seen if the most intense battle in history of all universes will favor Jiren or Goku. After all, the fans have yet to see Goku's capabilities when using the complete Ultra Instinct form.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 129 will air in Japan on March 5.
