'Dragon Ball Super' spoilers: episode 43 sees awakening of Baby Pan's powers

Dragon Ball Super - PanToei Animation

According to Yibada, following the events of the tournament between Universe 6 and Universe 7, Son Goku will undergo a unique condition referred to as "Late-Onset Turbulent Ki Syndrome" in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 43. This is a special condition where Goku fails at controlling his own power.

Because of his inability to control his energy, Goku accidentally destroys his home and his wife Chi-Chi forces him to stay at Gohan's place for a while. It is revealed in the official promo trailer that during this visit the audience will be introduced to the potential powers of baby Pan, the daughter of Gohan and his wife Videl.

During Goku's stay, he appears to be undergoing several symptoms such as red rashes growing on his skin, akin to someone struck with chickenpox or measles. There are also clips of Goku accidentally unleashing energy, hinting that he may be too destructive to be too close to Chi-Chi and their home.

The trailer also showcases that Goku will be experiencing difficulties in taking care of Pan due to his current condition. This gets even worse when an old friend, Master Korin, arrives for a surprise visit. Korin is the immortal cat responsible for growing the Senzu beans and has not been seen since the "Cell Saga" in "Dragon Ball Z."

Pilaf and his gang also make a return appearance as they once again attempt at causing trouble for Goku and his allies. However, this time around they will encounter baby Pan. While the latter is still an infant, the trailer reveals that Pan already has latent powers and may be able to take down Pilaf's group all by herself.

There is a quick clip in the trailer where Pan stands and waves her hands in the air. As she performs this she is suddenly engulfed in energy, hinting that she may be capable of performing an energy blast even at such a young age.

"Dragon Ball Super" airs this May 15.
