The latest downloadable content (DLC) pack for the Bandai Namco online fighting game, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" has been announced last month. If that was not enough to satiate fans of the game, Bandai Namco is even coming up with more promotional content. This time around, the developers have released a gameplay footage showcasing the moves of the upcoming new characters Tapion and Android 13, as well as a new Hero Colosseum Mode.

In a report by Video Gamer, Hero Colosseum is a board game-like mode wherein players can collect figures of "Dragon Ball" characters in order to use them in a match. Players will be able to customize the skills and can be accessed through a battle simulator in the game. This appears to be an interesting mini-game that is in-depth enough to add more flavor and variety to the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" world.

In the video that was released, both Tapion and Android 13 have one thing in common; and that is that they are both very nimble and agile characters. Tapion utilizes his sword a lot in his combo basic attacks, and has a fitting super attack that can be used as a devastating combo ender. Android 13, on the other hand, showcases his basic attack capabilities as well, and seems to have a wide variety of offensive capabilities that looks formidable.

However, the health bars of characters were not put on display, so it does not exactly reveal the damage output of the attacks that were shown in the video. PlayStation Lifestyle has also reported that there will be some sort of collaboration with "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" as well as the upcoming "Dragon Ball FighterZ" video game. There will be two DLC packs that gamers should expect, called Extra Pack 1 & 2.

Extra Pack 1 will contain both Tapion and Android 13, as well as the new game mode. It is set to be released some time in autumn, while the Extra Pack 2 will have fans seeing another new character that is yet to be announced. Additionally, it will also have a "new form Goku," which could possibly be his new form in the show called Ultra Instinct. The details have not yet been confirmed.
